Have you ever herd about oil pulling? I know it doesn't sounds nice.
But let me tell you something that might change your mind, especially when you find out all the benefits it contains.
Oil pulling, an ancient Ayurvedic health practice, removes unwanted bacteria and yeast from the mouth.
Original practitioners of oil pulling used sunflower and sesame oils as a way to strengthen the teeth, gums, and jaw.
I suggest you use coconut oil, as it has so many incredible properties, plus tastes better than sesame oil.
Benefits:
1. Increased fresh breath – Bacteria are a common reason for persistent funky breath.
2. Whiter teeth – Many people use olive oil specifically for this purpose.
3. kills bacteria that causes bad breathe (removal of Streptococcus mutans bacteria)
4. Improves metabolism and detoxification
5. reduces tooth sensitivity and pain
6. Potential reduced risk of oral cancer
7. Reduction in the transmission risk and symptoms of the herpes virus (think canker sores and mononucleosis)
8. Increased protection from colds and flu (it clears the sinusses)
9. Boost the immune system
10. Strengths teeth, gums and jaw.
When practicing oil pulling with coconut oil
How to do it:
Put 1–2 tablespoons of oil in your mouth and swish it for 5–20 minutes.
I suggest using coconut or sesame oil, but any oil will work.
When finished, spit the oil into a trash can to prevent it from hardening and clogging the pipes of your sink or toilet. Rinse your mouth with water and sea salt and brush your teeth. Repeat daily for best results.
