Morning RITUALS
Morning! last day of school, and ready for speech day!
When we are a sleep, our body keeps working, Especially our gut. So waking up and having a good morning routine to help you body detox everything thats been processing during our sleep, its the best way of starting.
Below find some HEALTHY TIPS on how to start your day:
Start you day with LIQUID = WATER! squeeze 1/2 a lemon.
LEMON aids the Liver in the process of detoxification.
or a glass of water with a tsp of APPLE CIDER vinegar.
or a glass of water and a tsp of BICARBONATE SODA, ideal for people who love to workout in the morning, as it aids with the lactic acid. (caution: may cause, and GI cramps).
BREATHE: breathing into your lower abdomen, you engage your parasympathetic nervous system. This type of breathing engages the relaxation response and makes you feel more calm, present, and centered.
Have a good BREAKFAST: If you want to loose weight, have breakfast!. By eating a hearty breakfast, you’ll jumpstart your metabolism and reduce cravings.
if not feeling like eating, just take a lovely cup of tea, after your water, such as GREEN TEA.
If using a, ALARM to wake up, choose one related to nature, something lovely and smooth to start your day.
if doing exercise like YOGA have a lovely tea or just water and start your practice on an empty stocmach.
MEDITATION: Meditation will help slow your mind, allowing you to tune into your intuition and live in deeper alignment with your intentions.
COFFEE: I'm not saying no to coffee, BUT try to start your day with water, or other more friendly gut liquid. Coffee is hard on our GI tract, especially after a hole night of “cleaning” our body.
